MacOSX Safari Firefox Kaspersky RegExp Remote/Local Denial of Service document describes vulnerabilities in regcomp() implementations in MacOSX, Safari, Firefox, and Kaspersky leading to memory and CPU exhaustion. The issue was previously reported in BSD and GNU libc implementations (CVE-2011-3336 CVE-2010-4051 CVE-2010-4052), and now affects MacOSX and other software. Kaspersky 14.0.0.4651(e) exhibits CPU exhaustion, while Safari 7.0.2 (9537.74.9) and Firefox 27.0.1 experience memory exhaustion. JavaScript PoC is available for testing
