**Description:**IBM Global Security Kit (aka GSKit) before 8.0.14.22, as used in IBM Rational Directory Server, IBM Rational Change, IBM Rational DOORS, IBM Rational Synergy, and other products, uses the PKCS #12 file format for certificate objects without enforcing file integrity, which makes it easier for remote attackers to spoof SSL servers.

**Note:**This advisory does not apply to Rational Directory Server on Apache. It only applies to Rational Directory Server running on Tivoli Directory Server.

Remediation/Fixes

Rational Directory Server 5.2.x (Tivoli) customers should upgrade from present version of GSKIT to **GSKIT 8.0.14.22.**This version of GSKIT has been tested and verified by the Rational Directory Server development labs.
