This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Microsoft Internet Explorer. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the ability to write files to arbitrary locations. The issue lies in the failure to reset state when a user cancels a file save dialog. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code as the context of the current user at medium integrity.
