DESCRIPTION: A vulnerability has been reported in Sun Solaris, which can be exploited by certain malicious users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error within in.named when receiving dynamic updates.
Successful exploitation reportedly allows a remote privileged user to crash the DNS service.
SOLUTION: Apply patches.
