Remote attackers are able to inject own malicious persistent script code inject in the search function POST method request. The attacker is able to prepare a malicious links to steal user/admin session data. The request method to inject the code is POST and the attack vector is located on the client-side of the vulnerable online-service application.
The security risk of the application-side web vulnerability is estimated as medium with a cvss (common vulnerability scoring system) count of 2.4. Exploitation of the application-side web vulnerability requires a low privileged web-application user account and low or medium user interaction. Successful exploitation of the vulnerabilities result in persistent phishing, session hijacking, persistent external redirect to malicious sources and application-side manipulation of affected or connected module context.
