====================================================================== 3) Description of Vulnerability

Secunia Research has discovered a vulnerability in AutoVue SolidModel Professional Desktop Edition, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error within the handling of ARJ, RAR, and ZIP archives. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow when a malicious archive containing a file with an overly long filename is opened.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.
