DESCRIPTION: r0t has reported a vulnerability in Absolute Live Support XE, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion attacks.

Input passed to the "Session Topic" field when a user requests for support isn't properly sanitised before being displayed in the Live Monitor. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected website when a malicious request is displayed in the Live Monitor.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 2.0. Other versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
