Description

TITLE: OcoMon Unspecified SQL Injection Vulnerabilities

SECUNIA ADVISORY ID: SA17470

VERIFY ADVISORY: http://secunia.com/advisories/17470/

CRITICAL: Moderately critical

IMPACT: Manipulation of data

WHERE: >From remote

SOFTWARE: OcoMon 1.x http://secunia.com/product/6092/

DESCRIPTION: Some vulnerabilities have been reported in OcoMon, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct SQL injection attacks.

Input passed to certain unspecified parameters isn't properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

SOLUTION: The vulnerabilities have reportedly been fixed in version 1.21. However, Secunia Research has found that SQL injection still exists in the logon page when "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.

Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.

PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY: Reported by vendor.
