Canon PrintMe / EFI software is prone to a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. The flaw is due to an input validation error in the Canon PrintMe EFI webinterface. Successful exploitation will allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML in a user's browser session within the trust relationship between their browser and the server. No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product, or replace the product by another one
