Summary
IBM Chassis Management Module (CMM) has addressed the following vulnerability in xorg-x11-libX11.
Vulnerability Details:
CVEID: CVE-2013-1997
Description: X.Org libX11 is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by multiple integer overflow errors within the XAllocColorCells(), _XkbReadGetDeviceInfoReply(), _XkbReadGeomShapes(), _XkbReadGetGeometryReply(), _XkbReadKeySyms(), _XkbReadKeyActions(), _XkbReadKeyBehaviors(), _XkbReadModifierMap(), _XkbReadExplicitComponents(), _XkbReadVirtualModMap(), _XkbReadGetNamesReply(), _XkbReadGetMapReply(), _XimXGetReadData(), XListFonts(), XListExtensions(), and XGetFontPath() functions. By sending specially-crafted data, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
