Package : libx11 Vulnerability : several Problem type : remote Debian-specific: no CVE ID : CVE-2013-1981 CVE-2013-1997 CVE-2013-2004

Ilja van Sprundel of IOActive discovered several security issues in multiple components of the X.org graphics stack and the related libraries: Various integer overflows, sign handling errors in integer conversions, buffer overflows, memory corruption and missing input sanitising may lead to privilege escalation or denial of service.

For the oldstable distribution (squeeze), these problems have been fixed in version 2:1.3.3-4+squeeze1.

For the stable distribution (wheezy), these problems have been fixed in version 2:1.5.0-1+deb7u1.

For the unstable distribution (sid), these problems have been fixed in version 2:1.5.0-1+deb7u1.

We recommend that you upgrade your libx11 packages.
