What is Cyber incident

The term describes any event involving malicious computer code or hardware being used to disrupt computer systems. It includes attacks on computers themselves (such as hacking) and attempts to damage data or information contained within those computers (such as ransomware). Usually this term is used during cyber incident investigation by security operation center (SOC).
