RUGGEDCOM products provide a level of reliability that sets the standard for communication networks deployed in harsh environments.The RUGGEDCOM RX1400 is a multi-protocol intelligent node that combines Ethernet switching, routing and application hosting capabilities with a variety of wide-area connectivity options.A security vulnerability exists in the Siemens RUGGEDCOM ROX that vulnerability is due to a failure of the affected device to properly handle traversal of file system permissions. An attacker could exploit the vulnerability to access an overview of the complete file system on the affected device.
