A buffer overflow flaw in PostgreSQL can allows an authenticated user to crash or potentially execute arbitrary code with privileges. PostgreSQL also has issues with error messages that can lead to an information leak. The "make check" command does not properly invoke initdb to specify the authentication requirements for a database cluster, which allows local users to gain privileges. Update PostgreSQL to address these issues
