Description of the security update for Microsoft Office Viewers and Office Compatibility Pack: February 12, 2019

Summary

This security update resolves a security feature bypass vulnerability that exists when Microsoft Office does not validate URLs. To learn more about the vulnerability, see Microsoft Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures CVE-2019-0540.Note To apply this security update, you must have the release version of Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack Service Pack 3, Excel Viewer, or PowerPoint Viewer installed on a computer that is running Windows Embedded POSReady 2009.
