Le Routeur haut débit sans fil Câble/DSL 2,4 GHz 54 Mbps Barricade™ (SMCWBR14-G2) est la solution réseau parfaite pour les utilisateurs recherchant un produit réseau tout en un pour le bureau ou pour leur domicile.Ce routeur multifonctionnel combine un commutateur 4 ports 10/100 Mbps auto-MDIX, 
un point d'accès sans fil 54 Mbps, un firewall SPI, une administration par interface Web et possède la fonction VPN Pass Through, le tout dans un produit simple à utiliser. Le Barricade g autorise une vitesse de connexion sans fil 5 fois plus rapide qu'un produit 802.11b sans fil LAN et offre une compatibilité avec les produits réseau 802.11b existant. Pour la connectivité sans fil, le SMCWBR14-G2 offre une connexion jusqu'à 54Mbps. Pour sécuriser la connexion sans fil, le Barricade g supporte la norme 802.1x (authentification par port), 
l'accès Wi-Fi protégé (WPA/WPA2), le filtrage des adresses MAC et le cryptage WEP 64 et 128 bits.
