Cisco Data Center Network Manager readConfigFileFromDBAsXML Directory Traversal Information Disclosure Vulnerability

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on affected installations of Cisco Data Center Network Manager. Although authentication is required to exploit this vulnerability, the existing authentication mechanism can be bypassed. The specific flaw exists within the readConfigFileFromDBAsXML SOAP endpoint called by accessing the WebAnalysisWSService/WebAnalysis path in the service. When parsing the arg0 parameter, the process does not properly validate a user-supplied path prior to using it in file operations. An attacker can leverage this to disclose files in the context of SYSTEM.
