Cisco Data Center Network Manager ConfigArchiveRest getRestoreLog Directory Traversal Information Disclosure Vulnerability

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on affected installations of Cisco Data Center Network Manager. Although authentication is required to exploit this vulnerability, the existing authentication mechanism can be bypassed. The specific flaw exists within the ConfigArchiveRest method called by accessing the fm/fmrest/config/archive/restore/log path in the service. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied path prior to using it in file operations. An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute code in the context of SYSTEM.
