Hewlett Packard Enterprise Universal CMDB Product Installation File Access Control Privilege Escalation Vulnerability

This vulnerability allows local attackers to escalate privilege on vulnerable installations of Hewlett Packard Enterprise Universal CMDB. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within an access control set with insufficient privileges during the installation of the product. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code under the context of SYSTEM.
