Fuji Electric V-Server VPR File Parsing Memory Corruption Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Fuji Electric V-Server. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within parsing of a VPR file. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data which can result in a memory corruption condition. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code under the context of the current process.
