This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Microsoft Chakra. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the handling of the Array.unshift method. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of an error condition, which can result in an an Arrayâs length not matching the size of the underlying buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code under the context of the current process.
