Samsung iPOLiS Device Manager XNSSDKWINDOW.XnsSdkWindowCtrlForIpInstaller.1 Start Method Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Samsung iPOLiS Device Manager. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the XNSSDKWINDOW.XnsSdkWindowCtrlForIpInstaller.1 ActiveX control. By providing a malicious value to the Start() method, an attacker can execute arbitrary code in the context of the browser.
