This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Internet Explorer. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within CMarkup::DisconnectTreePos where destruction of a rendered attacker page by close of a tab or browser will trigger a use-after-free vulnerability in this function. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code under the context of the process.
