ImageMagick is vulnerable to denial of service (DoS) attacks. These attacks are possible through the ReadDCMImage function which overwrites the redmap, greenmap, and bluemap variables with an entirely new pointer. By continually changing these pointers, attackers can leak the memory and create a DoS condition.
