org.apache.nifi, nifi-web-ui is vulnerable to Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). The vulnerability is due to the lack of proper validation/sanitization for the description field in the Parameter Context configuration, allowing arbitrary JavaScript code to be executed by the client browser within the session context of the authenticated user. Attackers can exploit this by entering malicious JavaScript code if they have authorization to configure a Parameter Context.
