Authorization Bypass

snort is vulnerable to Authorization Bypass. The application detection engine has a vulnerability that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to bypass the configured policies on an affected system by sending crafted packets. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to deliver a malicious payload to the protected network.
