libjasper.so is vulnerable to denial of service (DoS) attacks. The vulnerability exists due to a reachable abort caused by the jpc_dec_process_sot() function in libjasper/jpc/jpc_dec.c. The exploit results in the function returning an unexpected jas_alloc2 value, allowing remote attackers to crash the process.
