Linux kernel is vulnerable to denial of service(DoS) attacks. This is because of the mishandling of inheritance of the dccp_v6_request_recv_sock function in net/dccp/ipv6.c. A local user could use this flaw to induce kernel memory corruption on the system which leads application to crash.
