Tape configuration restore due to Veeam 7.0 limitations not displaying VMs processed with tape backups in Veeam 8.0, resolved by marking tapes as free and performing tape catalogization. Existing backup to tape jobs can be configured to archive only the latest backup chain to reduce workload
