Insecure Unserialize in extension News (tt_news)

It has been discovered that the extension “News” (tt_news) is susceptible to Insecure Unserialize.

Affected Versions: Version 3.5.1 and below

CVE: CVE-2014-6290

Problem Description: Failing to sanitize user input properly, tt_news is vulnerable to insecure unserialize.

Solution: An updated version 3.5.2 is available from the TYPO3 extension manager and at <http://typo3.org/extensions/repository/download/tt_news/3.5.2/t3x/&gt;. Users of the extension are advised to update the extension as soon as possible.
