Tens of thousands of Social Security Numbers exposed in a searchable public database on the IRS website, due to required public posting of section 527 tax documents. Public.Resource.Org urged IRS to remove forms to redact sensitive information. IRS took forms offline but faces legal requirement to publish without altering information
