Websites Getting Safer, Yet XSS Bugs Persist. Annual study by WhiteHat Security shows decreasing vulnerabilities in websites. Banking sites have fewest vulnerabilities at 17, while retail sites have highest at 121. Cross-site scripting (XSS) bugs remain prevalent. Information leakage vulnerabilities decrease but still a concern.
