Microsoft Threat Management Gateway (TMG) offers solid capabilities but also has considerable drawbacks. Positioned as a comprehensive Web security gateway, TMG has evolved beyond its firewall roots. However, the beta release reflects a conservative approach to minimize customer administrative costs
