Mirai DDoS Malware and IoT Botnets Threatening Internet Security. Source code for Mirai malware released, exploiting IoT devices with default credentials to create huge botnets for DDoS attacks. Bashlite malware also infects IoT devices. IoT devices are difficult to manage and update, vulnerable to attacks.
