Description

Linux kernel is prone to a denial-of-service vulnerability. An attacker can exploit this issue to cause denial-of-service conditions. Linux kernel 5.0.21 is vulnerable.

Recommendations

Permit local access for trusted individuals only. Where possible, use restricted environments and restricted shells.
Allow only trusted individuals to have user accounts and local access to the resources.

Run all software as a nonprivileged user with minimal access rights.
To reduce the impact of latent vulnerabilities, always run nonadministrative software as an unprivileged user with minimal access rights.
