SRC-2019-0058 : Adobe Photoshop CC Type 2 Font Charstring callothersubr Type Confusion Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

Vulnerability Details:

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Adobe Photoshop CC. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.

The specific flaw exists within the processing of PostScript files. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a type confusion condition and subsequent out-of-bounds write on the stack. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process.
