New burnOverflow Bug in Multiple ERC20 Smart Contracts (CVE-2018-11239) identified by PeckShield has already led to attacks on Hexagon Token (HXG). Attackers can generate tokens or steal from legitimate holders by manipulating the transfer function without spending any tokens. The exploit bypasses balance checks by overflowing calculations, jeopardizing financial loss on trading platforms
