QR codes in email phishing can redirect users to fake login pages, granting attackers access to their accounts. Attackers distribute phishing emails posing as legitimate sources and prompting users to scan QR codes leading to malicious websites. Despite QR codes being harder to analyze than regular hyperlinks, they are increasingly used in phishing scams
