Targeted attacks on industrial and public institutions in January 2022. Multiple countries affected, including East European countries. Attackers hijacked IT infrastructure and targeted military industrial complex, design bureaus, research institutes, government agencies, and ministries. Initial infection through phishing emails exploiting CVE-2017-11882. PortDoor malware used for cyberespionage, with additional backdoors installed for redundant communication. Attackers used Ladon utility for lateral movement and network scanning
