The DroxiDat/SystemBC payload is a backdoor component used in ransomware attacks targeting critical infrastructure. It is a lean variant of SystemBC that serves as a system profiler and SOCKS5-capable bot. An unknown actor targeted an electric utility in southern Africa with DroxiDat and Cobalt Strike beacons in March 2023.
