A new zero-day vulnerability for Internet Explorer (IE) was found in late April 2018, with an interesting exploit triggering Use After Free (UAF) vulnerability and executing shellcode. The initial Rich Text Format (RTF) document contained obfuscated object data resembling an older vulnerability leveraging the Microsoft HTA handler (CVE-2017-0199)
