Linux: netback fails to honor grant mapping errors
ISSUE DESCRIPTION XSA-362 tried to address issues here, but in the case of the netback driver the changes were insufficient: It left the relevant function invocation with, effectively, no error handling at all. As a result, memory allocation failures there could still lead to frontend-induced...

CVE-2021-23975
The developer page about:memory has a Measure function for exploring what object types the browser has allocated and their sizes. When this function was invoked we incorrectly called the sizeof function, instead of using the API method that checks for invalid pointers. This vulnerability affects...
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel 2.6.39 through 5.10.16 as used in Xen. Block net and SCSI backends consider certain errors a plain bug deliberately causing a kernel crash. For errors potentially being at least under the influence of guests (such as out of memory conditions) it isn't correct to assume a plain bug. Memory allocations potentially causing such crashes occur only when Linux is running in PV mode though. This affects drivers/block/xen-blkback/blkback.c and drivers/xen/xen-scsiback.c.
