A vulnerability in the Git distributed version control system is related to the fact that the uninstaller binary downloads DLLs in an unsafe manner from the current working directory.
uninstaller binary loads DLLs in an insecure manner from the current working directory. Exploitation
of the vulnerability could allow an attacker, by placing a specially crafted .dll file on the system, to force the
victim to launch the uninstaller binary from that directory and execute arbitrary code with
elevated privileges

A vulnerability in the Git distributed version control system is related to the ability to create the folder
“C:.git.” Exploitation of the vulnerability could allow an attacker acting remotely to run
arbitrary commands
