A flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s MPTCP (Multipath TCP) subsystem that could lead to a deadlock in the subflow diagnostic code. This issue could potentially cause the system to become unresponsive under certain conditions.

Mitigation for this issue is either not available or the currently available options do not meet the Red Hat Product Security criteria comprising ease of use and deployment, applicability to widespread installation base or stability.
