Software description

Jetty is a pure Java-based HTTP server and Java Servlet container.

Vulnerability description

The specialists of the Positive Research center have detected a Sensitive Information Disclosure vulnerability in Jetty on Windows.

The system does not consider that NTFS allows users to address files with extended syntax, while matching the requested resource URL with locations defined in web server configuration. This vulnerability allows attackers to obtain JSP script source code and to bypass access restrictions set for certain resources.
