# Description about Software :
***************************
Acajoom has been the most downloaded and popular

newsletter extension for Joomla 1.0 and 1.5 in the early days (2007-2010).

Now they use Jnews Components 8.9.1 instead of Acajoom.

####################################################################

# Impact :
***********
Joomla Acajoom 5.1.5 component for Joomla and other versions is prone to an SQL-injection

vulnerability because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied

data before using it in an SQL query.

Exploiting this issue could allow an attacker to compromise the application,

access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database.

A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request to the vulnerable application

and execute arbitrary SQL commands in application`s database.

Further exploitation of this vulnerability may result in unauthorized data manipulation.

An attacker can exploit this issue using a browser.

The version of the Acajoom component for Joomla! running on the remote

host is affected by a SQL injection vulnerability in the

class.mailing.php script due to improper sanitization of user-supplied

input to the 'mailingid' parameter before using it to construct

database queries in the getOneMailing() function. Regardless of the

PHP 'magic_quotes_gpc' setting, an unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this i

ssue to manipulate database queries, resulting in disclosure of sensitive

information, modification of data, or other attacks against the

underlying database and it has vulnerability on different parameters in index.php.
