Vulnerability Description

Microsoft SMTP service contains a flaw that may allow a remote denial of service. The issue is triggered when the Microsoft SMTP service attempts to send a message to a server and receives a 4xx error code. It will continue retrying to send the message and will result in loss of availability for both the sending and receiving server

Solution Description

Currently, there are no known workarounds or upgrades to correct this issue. However, Microsoft has released a patch to address this vulnerability.
