Microsoft SMB Client Remote Code Execution Vulnerabilities (2511455) OpenVAS vulnerability test for Microsoft SMB Client Remote Code Execution Vulnerabilities (2511455). This is a program that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by creating specially crafted browser messages and sending them to an affected system. It also allows attackers to perform a man-in-the-middle attack to respond to a legitimate SMB request with a malformed SMB response. The flaws are due to errors in SMB client implementation and CIFS Browser Protocol implementation, leading to memory corruption
