The version of Wireshark installed on the remote Windows host is prior to 3.0.8. It is, therefore, affected by a denial of service (DoS) vulnerability in its Bluetooth Attribute dissector component due to insufficient packet processing logic. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this issue, by sending specially crafted packets to an affected host, to cause a DoS condition to occur in the component.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application’s self-reported version number.
