According to its self-reported version number, the Atlassian Crowd application running on the remote host is 2.1.x prior to 3.0.5, 3.1.x prior to 3.1.6, 3.2.x prior to 3.2.8, 3.3.x prior to 3.3.5 or 3.4.x prior to 3.4.4. It is, therefore, affected by a remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this, by using pdkinstall development plugin, to install arbitrary plugins, which permits remote code execution.
Note that the scanner has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the applicationβs self-reported version number.
